Jobs, shops, services, schools etc. local services are within walking distance of the apartments 1-2 km. Special services are within a 3 to 5 km bike ride. There are also carriages and / or moving conveyor belts. There can be more teleworking, distance learning and distance services from home. Dwellings do not have to be too large and do not require much storage space because there are a lot of communal space and people do not buy or store any unnecessary items, they are recycled or reused as raw materials. Everyday commodities can be quickly accessed nearby when needed. Circular economy principles: Waste is another raw material. Clean, pollution-free production. Waste for sustainable nature’s circulation as soil improvers, fertilizers. They have previously been treated as harmless to the environment, to the health of organisms and to humans. Everything is intelligently optimized.

The passageways are covered with nano glass, the roof so that the snow slides by itself into an adjacent creek that carries water and snow to water reservoirs, fishponds. This allows you to travel on foot, bike or conveyor belt regardless of the weather – rain, frost, heat. The passage is air-conditioned to be cool and warm. Its edges can grow fruit trees, salads, ornamental plants, etc., release oxygen into the air and create comfort even in winter. There are also transport routes for goods and mail between homes and offices. Cars are therefore not needed in the Urban Area. There may be train tracks in the country and elsewhere in the city, or you can book an eco-car on the sharing economy principle. The city is free of pollution and noise from traffic. Transport and transportation equipment are as quiet as possible and energy efficient.

Apartments and offices are built with durable furniture. Traditional car traffic, excavators and cranes are still needed during the construction phase. Once the city is built in a sustainable way, there is no need for migration to furniture, household appliances and factory machinery. Residents and operators can carry or transport their personal belongings, such as food, clothing, textiles, dishes and other small items, with the equipment of transport lines. Disabled and elderly people with disabilities have their own means of transport and the city has been made easy for them to use.

People get more exercise when they get to work, do business and enjoy the parks, gardens and work around. Condition and health remains better. With a city without pollution, clean air, clean water, a healthy optimized diet, proactive and preventive, personalized health care, health will remain for a long time.

People have a lot of social interactions and community centers where they can gather according to their ideas, values and faith. Loneliness and small groups can also be retreated to nature, their apartment and their workstation.

Dwellings and offices can be built with different expressions in different neighborhoods, so there is variation. On the other hand, there are also many good standards by which commodities are made. Commodities can be manufactured for individual needs in mini-factories where production is optimized for energy, raw materials and time use. An eco-smart city area can be as self-sufficient as possible. Lots of artificial intelligence and human intelligence are utilized. People, the public and experts together are involved in brainstorming, designing, developing and making. There is also a lot of handicraft used, which requires less robots that consume energy and require a lot of raw materials to make them. The division of labor between humans and robots, which ones should be done by whom and using which. The eco-smart city and its environment, with all its features for humans and nature, have been optimized for environmental friendliness, health, economy, time use, comfort, ethics, etc.

Culture and values must not be forcibly fed by public exits such as music, which, however, is not liked by all and brings noise pollution. There are meeting rooms in the city where people can gather according to their values, which are free from disturbance, noise, violence, littering, drunkenness, etc. for the environment and other people. People have healthy lifestyles: No smoking, no alcoholism, no drug use – they are prevented and helped get rid of. Shared property in the sharing economy must not be spoiled and used as directed. The inhabitants have high morals. If an individual repeatedly violates common rules, he or she will be expelled from the eco-smart city and / or placed in special care and education. People don’t consume anything extra, no one lives too wide at the expense of other people and nature. Nobody accumulates more capital than they need. Communities or the city as a whole are collecting capital to maintain and further develop an eco-intelligent society. One has to consider the sustainability of the entire globe, the consumption per individual is what is needed for sustainable development on Earth. Much can be saved from unnecessary consumption and production. The sharing economy also reduces the need for and sustainable commodities so that there is not so much eco-footprint per person.

All design and development utilize the best available technology and develop, design and research even better solutions for the benefit of all members of society through brainstorming, teamwork, study and learning, etc.

Here are some initial ideas for all people to moving forward good things today and in the future. Keep developing, brainstorming and evaluating! There are infinite alternatives, they must be combined into a workable and realistic whole, which, however, sets the boundaries for opportunities. The whole urban-rural community with all its features should be redesigned from the start. The old structures are still there, but they can be improved according to new methods and principles. The future eco-smart city and eco-rural areas must be made easily modifiable and adaptable to new environmental conditions and the challenges of humankind. Here, that thinking, hobby and field of work is enough for anyone who is capable and can.

Happy future!
