I have heard about a top scientist, a man who had not studied at university, but read a lot of scientific literature and was allowed to do and implement things. So, you can go on with self-study, and that’s a lot, even though you are in education. Today, there is a wealth of information available online and in libraries. It’s a good idea to buy an up-to-date good science textbook because you may not get good study material for free. But get started with free older versions of books and free material online.

Science has a lot of well-established, basic information that is not outdated. Sometimes the theory can and will continue to change as research progresses. Scientific articles provide the most up-to-date information, but reading and properly understanding them may require that you first study basic knowledge and concepts. When you read foreign language literature, so develops your language skills. Similarly, reading and pondering is a good brain exercise and an interesting hobby.

So, in theory you can study independently if you have good study materials. However, many science experiments require laboratory, equipment, reagents, etc. and good occupational safety. I wish there was a general laboratory where an ordinary citizen, a science enthusiast, could do experiments and practice things. However, laboratory users should have safety tests and controls to prevent accidents. Each user should pay his or her own share of the material consumption. Even amateurs could set up a laboratory together.

Good in the current education system: Teachers can guide studies, compile good teaching materials, explain difficult things understandably, emphasize essentials. Educational institutions have the tools they need to study science and experiment. Studies are paid for by society. Public economies are currently indebted € 107 billion by the Finland state, in addition to municipal debts, it is not always possible to think of increasing public money for science, research and education. Business owners should think about development and avoid paying too much dividends and investing money in learning materials, science, research and development so that companies will remain competitive in the future. There is also a lot of private debt. In good times you should save more so in bad times you can afford to use.

Employees also need to think about profitability and competitiveness, not demanding, and still overwhelming, benefits. Some have the right to be fossilized for their jobs and interests and others have to petrify the long-term unemployed and live below the subsistence level. There should be more opportunities for the long-term unemployed to get to work, so that career advancement would not stop and skills would develop as a result of work experience, thus providing more skilled labor. Some people with disabilities prevent full employment and should also have more opportunities.

Employees, managers and business owners should spontaneously develop skills, study and monitor time to comprehensively understand the phenomena of society and nature versatile and their laws. Doing so they are not living in a bubble and beyond economic means and resources, are seen beyond one’s nose. In this way, many societal conflicts can be better solved by deeply understanding and knowing from many different perspectives problems and their solutions. They increase mutual understanding between counterparties and reduce the risk of worsening of the relationship between people and groups of people. Having received reliable and objective information from many different angles, you can better justify things. In this case, good reasoning can constructively move things forward. Don’t give too much power to your emotions and use violence. I think strikes, lock-outs and other forms of coercion are violence. Learn to justify reasonably and very evenly without skewing your point of view, so you can move things forward more effectively. It is not always possible to go downhill, there will come also uphill, sometimes gaining additional benefits for oneself, and sometimes having to give up for the sake of the common, one’s own country and the world.

I encourage learning and also lifelong, any actor can encourage others to do so. It has been researched that 10% could be learned in theory and 90% by doing at least in computer programming – this varies from sector to sector. A solid theory base and a deep understanding of it will help and facilitate practical experimentation and inspire ideas without having to start learning the hard way.

It is worth studying many different disciplines in an interdisciplinary way, but it is also necessary to concentrate on one area because time is not enough for an individual. Studying requires perseverance and patience, many things are difficult to understand and absorb, there is tremendous amount of information, and its amount is increasing at an ever-increasing rate. One has to start with the basics and study piece by piece essential so that things become more familiar. They are repeated, become richly described, and explained if they are read from many different sources. Dividing the problem into sub-problems also helps in solving them.

I’ve had as my hobby to learn a lot myself computing, mathematics, medicine, science. Although you can concentrate on studying biochemistry and green chemistry for a few hours on a weekday, they have basis for example. synthetic biology, genetic engineering, medicine, pharmacy, ecology, health and environmental solutions, new product and materials development. However, it takes much time, but I already have a lot of basic information, because I have studied for decades and wide-ranging. Never fully learned, I feel that my knowledge is nothing more than a scratch from different fields. It depends on health and fitness also whether you can study. There must also be a realistic benefit from learning.

I we could achieve sustainable, steady, equitable and steady development for ourselves and for all other people at home, in our community, in our homeland, on earth, and throughout the universe and at the present time, in the future and in the eternity. Science, research, development, study, and experimentation help us to gain and apply new and old knowledge and good experiences.
